What is a Five Fold Ministry? Why Do We Need Them?

Why does God want TEAM leadership? No one man completely represents full truth, wisdom and power as
Jesus did. Each of us experience limitations in our lives. Each of us have areas of weakness and
woundedness which are not yet healed. Therefore, we are counseled in Proverbs 11:14 and
Deuteronomy 32:30, we multiply our effectiveness when we team up. We do not just add to it, we multiply it.
Jesus prayed for the church, "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may
be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me (John 17: 21)."
THE CALL
God divinely calls those whom He has chosen for leadership. Out of His many disciples, Jesus chose only twelve to be apostles (Luke 6:13). At the beginning of the book of Romans, Paul said that he was also "called to be an apostle" (Romans 1:1). This divine call is an absolute prerequisite for leadership.
